Cactusmania

Ariocarpus hybrid Ø 18

A specimen that combines characteristics of the genus Ariocarpus with the unique and sought-after traits of other Ariocarpus varieties (such as fissuratus, cauliflower or furfuraceus). Each specimen is a one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable piece, featuring geometric tubercles that can show shades, roughness or intermediate forms not found in nature. A spineless collector’s cactus, enhanced in autumn by spectacular silky blooms. Being a hybrid, each single plant develops its own visual personality. The tubercles, spineless and arranged in a rosette, can range from broad and smooth shapes to sharper, slender or grooved profiles, with colourings spanning from green to grey-blue. At the centre of the plant, the woolly apex protects the buds that will open in autumn. The large, funnel-shaped flowers offer fascinating hues. A specimen that falls under the CITES certificate list of plants cultivated by Cactusmania, in accordance with the regulations for the protection of endangered species.
