Aeonium arboreum hyb. ‘Mardi Gras’ vaso Ø 18
Belonging to the Crassulaceae family, this Aeonium arboreum hyb. ‘Mardi Gras’ comes in an 18 cm Ø pot with a label bearing its botanical name.
This vibrantly colored Aeonium has uniquely variegated leaves! When grown in full sun or cooler temperatures, the naturally striped yellow and green leaves turn bright pink and lime green.
A spineless succulent from the Crassulaceae family, like Crassula and Echeveria, “Mardi Gras” is a hybrid—a cross between two plants—making it very hardy and an excellent choice as a garden succulent in summer. It thrives in pots, so it can always stay close to you. The name comes from the colorful New Orleans festival held on Mardi Gras.
Aeonium “Mardi Gras” is a stunning succulent because the vibrant colors of its rosettes, carried on thick stems, make the plant look lively and lush. The leaves are variegated with streaks of pink, green, yellow, and red, creating a striking color contrast within the plant. Perfect for small summer gardens, as well as potted displays on balconies and terraces. In summer, the plant goes dormant to protect itself from the heat—avoid touching or watering it!
