Echeveria ‘Trumpet Pinky’ Ø 14

Echeveria ‘Trumpet Pinky’ Ø 14, supplied in an elegant terracotta pot from our Manera Line.

This is a remarkable succulent, famous for its tubular leaves ending in a trumpet-like shape. This variety forms a compact rosette of fleshy leaves completely rolled up on themselves. The leaf blade is covered with a dense waxy cuticle called pruinose (farina), giving the plant a matte, velvety appearance. Under strong light or during seasonal temperature changes (autumn and spring), the funnel-shaped leaf tips turn bright pink or deep crimson.

Growing notes:

  • Light: full sun or very bright light; tolerates partial shade but colors will fade.
  • Watering: allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings; in winter, reduce to a minimum (once a month or less).
  • Soil type: very well-draining, ideally a cactus/succulent mix with sand and pumice.
  • Fertilizing: once a month in spring/summer with a low-nitrogen succulent fertilizer.
  • Fun fact: the farina does not regenerate if rubbed off by fingers — avoid touching the leaves to preserve the velvety look.
