Euphorbia Stellata, one of the most fascinating, sculptural, and sought-after caudiciform plants among collectors of botanical rarities, belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family. This species is a true natural masterpiece, famous for the contrast between its imposing woody base and its radially arranged geometric branches. The heart of the plant is its extraordinary tuberous caudex, a large, modified, woody, and swollen stem. From the top of this tuber emerge flat, creeping, star-shaped branches, characterized by an exceptional bright green geometric pattern.
Cultivation notes:
- Exposure: enjoys bright light but not direct sunlight during the hottest hours. Ideal is a very bright location, with morning or filtered sun.
- Watering: requires little care and fears waterlogging. In spring/summer, water moderately only when the substrate is dry. In autumn/winter, stop almost completely.
- Soil type: needs a very well-draining substrate, ideally a cactus mix with added pumice, lapilli, or perlite.
- Fertilization: during the growing season, fertilize once a month with a low-nitrogen fertilizer specifically for succulents.
