Rhipsalis cruciformis spiralis is a rare and spectacular epiphytic cactus belonging to the Cactaceae family. This exceptional variety is clearly different from desert cacti: it originates from the South American rainforests and has no sharp spines, focusing instead on a geometric, avant-garde architecture. Its unique feature lies in its long stems which, instead of growing straight, twist into a perfect spiral. In spring, it blooms profusely with small, abundant cream or pink flowers.

Growing notes:

Light: bright but filtered light (avoid direct midday sun).
Watering: regular in spring/summer, allowing the substrate to dry slightly between waterings; reduce drastically in winter.
Soil type: well-draining substrate for orchids or epiphytic cacti, rich in organic matter (e.g., peat, fine bark, perlite).
Fertilizing: every 15-20 days in spring/summer with a low-nitrogen cactus fertilizer.
Humidity: enjoys moderate ambient humidity, but no waterlogging.
Temperature: winter minimum not below 10-12°C (50-54°F).
